Day 1 – Arrive Havana 

Welcome to Cuba! On arrival at Jose Marti International Airport you will be met by your English-speaking guide.  Clear customs and immigration and take the opportunity to exchange some money before boarding the coach for the transfer through to the hotel. Check in to the hotel and settle into your room for an evening at leisure. Accommodation: Capri Hotel or Similar – 3 Nights

Day 2 –  City Tour / San Cristobal Paladar / Shopping at Revolution Square / Forest of Havana (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out on a City tour of Old Havana including the four most important squares; Arms Square, San Francisco de Asís Square, The Old Square and Cathedral Square. Enjoy lunch at your own expense in San Cristobal Paladar. Enjoy an afternoon touring in classic old cars of Modern Havana stopping in Revolution Square and the Forest of Havana. Return to the hotel for dinner at your leisure. Optional Tour (own expense): The nightly 9pm cañonazo ceremony held in La Cabaña fort is a theatrical show during which actors dressed in full 18th-century military regalia re-enact the firing of a cannon over Havana harbor – a ritual that used to signify the closing of the city gates. 

Day 3 – Montesinos Tobacco Farm / Palenque de los Cimarrones / Prehistory Mural Painting (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before an early start to Vinales. Visit Montesinos Tobacco Farm to see the drying house for tobacco leaves and the cigar making process. Continue to Los Jazmines lookout to enjoy the view of the breathtaking valley of Vinales declared UNESCO´s Cultural Landscape. Enjoy lunch in Palenque de los Cimarrones (own expense) to taste the Afro Cuban cuisine. Visit Prehistory Mural Painting by Diego Rivera the famous Cuban muralist before returning to Havana.  Dinner tonight is at your leisure. 

Day 4 – Cienfuegos / Bahia de Jagua paladar / Trinidad (B, L, D)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart for Cienfuegos via Bay of Pigs. Cienfuegos is a city on Bahía de Cienfuegos, a bay on Cuba’s south coast, known for its colonial-era buildings and is a UNESCO´s World Heritage Site. Visit Palacio de Valle – an architectural jewel located in the Punta Gorda, reminiscent of Spanish-Moorish art with influences of Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque and Mudejar arts. Enjoy lunch in Bahia de Jagua paladar before continuing onto Trinidad. Trinidad is a town in central Cuba, known for its colonial old town and cobblestone streets. Its neo-baroque main square, Plaza Mayor, is surrounded by grand colonial buildings. Museo Romántico, in the restored Palacio Brunet mansion, and Museo de Arquitectura Colonial display relics from the town’s sugar-producing era. Iglesia de la Santísima is a 19th-century cathedral with a vaulted ceiling and carved altars. Enjoy dinner tonight at a local restaurant. Accommodation: Brisas Trinidad del Mar or similar (2 nights)

Day 5 – Trinidad City Tour / La Canchanchara Pub / Ancon Beach / House of Music (B, L, D)

Enjoy breakfast followed by a city tour of Trinidad including a visit to a local museum and La Canchanchara Pub. This place is famous for its eponymous house cocktail made from rum, honey, lemon and water. Local musicians regularly drop by for off-the-cuff jam sessions, and it's not unusual for the canchánchara-inebriated crowd to break into spontaneous dancing. Return to the hotel for lunch followed by a drive to Ancon Beach for a quick swim. Return to Trinidad for dinner at the hotel followed by time at leisure to enjoy the House of Music, best known for its calypso music, soca music and steelpan. 

Day 6 – Havana / Botanical Garden of Cienfuegos / Fiesta Campesina (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for the return trip to Havana.  Along the way stop for a visit at the Botanical Garden of Cienfuegos. Cuba's oldest botanical garden, founded in 1901 at south central Cienfuegos province, owns 400 breeds of orchids. The garden treasures over 2,000 plants, including more than 70 exotic species, 280 breeds of palm trees, Jaguey (65) and bamboo (23). Cienfuegos Botanical Garden, founded as a sugar cane study station, is regarded today as granddad of Cuban botanical gardens for its seniority and contribution to diversity of counterparts. Lunch today is in Fiesta Campesina (own expense) before continuing to Havana. Check in to your hotel and enjoy time at leisure tonight. Accommodation: Capri Hotel or Similar (2 nights) 

Day 7 – Free day to explore Havana (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning before a day at leisure to explore Old Havana.

• Cigar and Rum Sommelier tastings  
Lunch and dinner today are at your leisure

Day 8 –  Depart Havana (B)

Check out of the hotel and depart for the airport for the return flight home to Australia or your onward journey.
