Go See Touring invites social indoor bowls players to join players from Australia and New Zealand in Norfolk Island for this fun event.
Day 1, Thursday 5 April 2018 Depart Auckland 7:30PM – Arrive Sydney 9:05PM
OR Depart DUD 3:05PM Arrive CHC 4:05PM / Depart Christchurch 6:30PM – Arrive Sydney 8:10PM
On arrival in Sydney you will transfer to your Sydney hotel, close to Sydney Airport.
Day 2, Friday 6 April 2018 Depart Sydney 9:55AM – Arrive Norfolk 1:30PM (AKL & DUD Passengers Only)
OR Depart Christchurch 3:30PM Arrive Brisbane 5:30PM (CHC Passengers Only)
Breakfast is at the hotel this morning. You’ll transfer to Sydney Airport in time for your flight to Norfolk. On arrival you need to collect your checked luggage and clear customs and immigration. Once in the main terminal you will be met by our local ground operator – Pinetree Tours and transferred to your accommodation for the next seven nights. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. A hire car will be waiting for you at your accommodation and insurance for one driver has been included. Petrol is payable direct. Dinner is at leisure.
Day 3, Saturday 7 April 2018 (D) Half Day Orientation Tour/Welcome Function (AKL & DUD Passengers only)

Pinetree Tours Half Day Orientation Tour is a must for every visitor. Visit historic Kingston, Cascade, Longridge and much more. See and hear about the famous convict buildings, beautiful beaches and golf course, the renowned Melanesian Chapel, local Government laws and lifestyle. Enjoy views from scenic spots on this full commentary conducted tour. Morning tea is included. Tonight will be a welcome function and dinner.
Day 4, Sunday 8 April 2018Round 1 Convict’s Challenge Indoor Bowls Tournament
The morning is at leisure today (AKL and DUD passengers) whilst CHC passengers will have their half day orientation tour. This afternoon is Round 1 of the bowls tournament to take place at South Pacific Resort. Remainder of today is at leisure. Suggestions of tours and where to eat will be advised.
Day 5, Monday 9 April 2018 Round 2 Convicts's Challenge Indoor Bowls Tournament
This morning is Round 2 of the bowls tournament and the afternoon is at leisure today.
Day 6, Tuesday 10 April 2018 (D) Round 3 Convict’s Challenge Indoor Bowls Tournament / Island Fish Fry
This morning is Round 3 of the bowls tournament and the afternoon is at leisure today. Late this afternoon enjoy a feast of Island dishes, salads, homemade bread & fresh fried fish, followed by Island desserts & tea or coffee. Enjoy some local entertainment, on our exclusive private property ‘Orn Daa Cliff’ on Norfolk’s western coastline.
Day 7, Wednesday 11 April 2018 Breakfast Bush Walk
This morning take your choice of a stroll through One Hundred Acres Reserve or for the more energetic, a leisurely 3.5km walk through scenic Mt Bates to Captain Cook Monument. If you prefer not to rise early and bush walk you’ll be picked up a little later and taken to join the walkers at Anson Bay as they return from their walk and where you’ll all enjoy a delicious breakfast barbecue on the clifftop. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 8 Thursday 12 April 2018 (D) Finals Bowls Tournament /Convict’s Challenge Presentation Dinner 2018
Today the finals will be played in the bowls competition. Tonight is the presentation of the week’s winners. Dress as a convict and join in with the Commandant for an evening of gaiety, feasting, singing and dancing.
